National network of outpatient addiction treatment centers: accelerated detoxification and case management services
关于我们
Champions in the fight against #addiction. Innovators in #addictiontreatment. Strong believers in second chances. The Coleman Institute’s unique outpatient detox programs have helped thousands of people free themselves from addiction to Alcohol, Opioids, and Benzodiazepines since 1998. We have an extraordinarily high 98% success rate for getting opioid patients onto the non-addictive opiate blocker, Naltrexone, which helps prevent relapse by reducing cravings and blocking highs. To help our patients get into long-term recovery and stay there, our program includes ongoing Naltrexone therapy and supportive case management after the withdrawal management phase. Unlike other forms of rapid detox, the Coleman Method speeds patients through withdrawal in relative comfort without the use of general anesthesia. Founded in Richmond, Virginia, our network has expanded to cover 12 cities in 10 states across the U.S. To learn more, please call us today at 888-736-1720 or visit our website at thecolemaninstitute.com For short-acting opiates like heroin, most patients complete their detox and begin Naltrexone therapy within 3 days. Longer-acting opiates like Suboxone and Methadone typically take 8 days. During the entire procedure, sedating medication is used to greatly minimize any withdrawal symptoms. During the detox, we work with patients and their families to develop an appropriate aftercare plan. Dr. Peter Coleman understands first-hand the struggle to get clean and stay clean due to his own personal struggle with addiction. Since getting into recovery in 1984, Dr. Coleman has dedicated his career to treating addiction patients and creating a team and an environment conducive to long term recovery for his patients.

Recognizing the Signs of an Opioid Overdose An opioid overdose can rapidly incapacitate a person, leading to potentially fatal consequences. It is crucial to recognize the signs of an overdose early and act immediately. Quick action can also mitigate longer-term complications for those who survive an overdose, emphasizing the life-saving importance of rapid and informed responses. #AddictionRecovery #EndtheStigma Joseph A. Methadone maintenance therapy under the supervision of a practitioner is both safe and effective, but it can leave you with the challenge of detoxing off of methadone itself. Since methadone is an opioid itself, it results in withdrawal symptoms when an individual stops taking it, just like with other opioids. In fact, most patients find detoxing off of methadone more difficult than withdrawing off of short-acting opioids. Methadone is a long-acting opioid agonist, so it stays active on the brain for a longer period of time than many other opioids.? #AddictionRecovery #EndtheStigma Joseph A. How Does Naltrexone Therapy At The Coleman Institute Work? Naltrexone is a medicine that blocks the opiate receptors in a person’s brain, which means it dramatically reduces opiate and alcohol cravings when they’re taking it. It is non-addictive and does not block the body’s natural endorphins. If you are struggling, Please get help. There are options available. One of the most common complaints from those in recovery is having low energy and feeling very irritable. This lack of energy can be debilitating, making it difficult to carry out daily activities and maintain a normal routine. The feeling of constant exhaustion can also exacerbate other symptoms, such as irritability, mood swings, and depression, creating a vicious cycle that can be challenging to break. #AddictionRecovery #EndtheStigma
