Remote Specialty-Specific Medical Coding, Auditing, & Training Services

关于我们

After successful careers in academic and private medical practice management, Mark Babst and Neal Green founded The Coding Network (TCN) in 1995 on the core principal that accurate coding is an essential component of any compliance program, and is critical to optimizing reimbursement. The Coding Network has since grown into America’s premier broker of specialty-specific coding services. All of work is done in the United States by a network of over 800 single specialty coders and auditors that cover over 57 physician specialties and subspecialties. TCN brokers 4 basic services: 1. Coding (day to day, backlog, vacation/medical coverage and expansion that doesn’t require a fully dedicated coder) 2. Coding accuracy audits, including ICD-10 Gap Analysis 3. Physician documentation training 4. Helpline Services are provided on a per-encounter basis with no monthly minimums or fees, with customers in complete control of how much work gets done at all times. For pricing and other sales inquiries, please call (888) 263-3633. Coders render services remotely tapping directly into EMRs, using cloud storage, secure email, fax or whichever HIPAA approved method is most convenient for clients. TCN coders can work a minimum of 15 hours a week allowing them to keep other jobs, but many chose to work more. Coders All Meet The Following Criteria: ? Are certified through AAPC or AHIMA ? Live and work in the United States ? Have a minimum of 3 years single specialty production coding experience (auditors have at least 5 years) ? Demonstrated single specialty proficiency thru a screening process coding de-identified cases of tertiary care cases To submit your resume, visit https://codingnetwork.com/jobs-with-the-coding-network/

Every coding operation faces unavoidable outages. Vacations. Sick leave. Maternity leave. Family leave. Coder turnover. In-house coding operations usually choose one of two paths: Cross-coding coverage. This involves cross-training coders in multiple specialties. The problem? Coders may only work in the secondary specialty for a few weeks a year. Skills get rusty. Workloads increase. Overtime becomes inevitable. Stop coding until the coder returns. This guarantees overtime. The returning coder faces a backlog plus their regular workload. Another coder might work overtime, inflating the budget. If the backlog is resolved quickly, your budget is still inflated. The TCN Solution. The Coding Network offers “coder elasticity.” Specialized coverage without costly overtime or burnout. We provide per-case pricing. We cover the absent coder’s desk remotely. You pay only for what you need. Our Project Manager meets with your team. Our IT staff ensures HIPAA-compliant access to your EMR. Our certified coders complete the necessary coding quickly and accurately. No more overtime costs. No more backlogs. Just expert coding coverage at a predictable price.

Most healthcare professionals and institutions fail to fully understand medical coding compliance. Here's how it impacts them: Medical coding compliance is a complex beast. It's a labyrinth of regulations and guidelines. It's not just about assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures. It's about ensuring accuracy, consistency, and legality in healthcare documentation. When not fully understood, it can lead to significant issues. Billing errors, for instance. Incorrect coding can result in overbilling or underbilling. This can lead to financial losses for healthcare institutions. Or worse, legal issues. Then there's the matter of patient care. Inaccurate coding can lead to incorrect treatment plans. This can negatively impact patient outcomes. It can also lead to mistrust between patients and healthcare providers. Lastly, there's the impact on data integrity. Medical codes are used for research and public health tracking. Incorrect coding can skew data, leading to inaccurate conclusions. This can impact healthcare policies and funding. Understanding medical coding compliance is not a luxury. It's a necessity for healthcare professionals and institutions. It's a complex task, but it's essential for maintaining the integrity of healthcare. It's a challenge worth mastering.
