As part of my dissertation, I am researching how earning a doctorate shapes Black women graduates' career aspirations and transitions from the Millennial and Xennial generations. Today, we're proud to dedicate Elijah's Park! ???? Many partners were involved in bringing this living memorial to Congressman Elijah Cummings to life. In partnership with Brandon M. Scott, Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, Comptroller Bill Henry, and the Baltimore Peninsula Partnership, we were grateful for the opportunity to thank the numerous community members who helped design, build and beautify Elijah's Park. This 28,000-square-foot public park features: ?? A beautiful new mural by local artists Jessie & Katey ?? A playground designed by Danish firm MONSTRUM ?? A Black Lives Matter-inspired mosaic by The Choice Program at UMBC As Mayor Brandon Scott said, "It is our hope that this park reminds residents and visitors alike of one of Baltimore’s greatest public servants and honors his legacy for years to come. #BaltimoreDevelopment #ElijahsPark PI.KL Studio Claudia Jolin Chenire Harrell-Carter MAG Partners LP

I am thrilled (and immensely grateful) to share that I passed the Maryland Bar Exam! I am deeply thankful to God, my family, friends, mentors, and colleagues for supporting and encouraging me throughout this journey. It takes a village, and I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful village by my side as I continue to grow in my career. I am excited for the path ahead, and for opportunities to give back to the community that has supported me every step of the way!
