Over the past few days, our team at the Support Center has been busy collecting hygiene items. Today, we assembled 1500 hygiene kits that will be sent to Hope the Mission, an organization dedicated to preventing, reducing and eliminating poverty, hunger and homelessness in the Los Angeles area. These kits will make an impact for individuals in need, providing essential items to brighten their day and meet their needs. A special shoutout to Valerie Seran for her incredible leadership in organizing this initiative! Her passion and dedication inspire us all to give back and support our communities. Recently, our Support Center joined forces with ProStart, a nationwide program that prepares high school students for careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry, to support the California Restaurant Foundation's Force In Training (FIT) Day. Alongside more than 200 other restaurant companies, our team spent the day helping ProStart students prepare for their first jobs and paychecks by conducting mock interviews, discussing career paths and sharing practical advice. Reflecting on the event,?Paige Barrella, Staff Relations Coordinator, shared, "Educating high school students on navigating the workplace was such a fun way to give back. We connected with students, learned about their passions and helped them move closer to achieving their goals." Dan Charley, Director of Talent Selection & Engagement, added, "It's inspiring to see how excited these students?are about their careers. We covered interviewing tips, paycheck management and building a strong foundation for culinary success. These students represent the future of our industry, and we're honored to support their journey." In 2016, Adam joined our team as a Dishwasher, and with his dedication and passion for excellence, he quickly rose through the ranks. From Prep Cook to Line Cook, where he mastered multiple stations, Adam’s growth has been nothing short of impressive. In February 2022, he was promoted to Kitchen Manager, and not long after, became Senior Manager. Today, we’re thrilled to announce his promotion to Senior II! Of course, his team isn’t surprised! Adam is known for his strong rapport with staff and commitment to excellence in everything he does. Congratulations, Adam! We're celebrating Omaha on their recent GiveBack event! The team recently visited The Foodbank of the Heartland where they helped box 12,144 pounds of food to feed an astounding 759 families. They choose The Foodbank for the Heartland because they are the largest distributors of food for those in need in the Midwest. They also worked with them last year at Thanksgiving to package meals for kids who couldn't use the free school meals during Thanksgiving break. We're so proud of our Omaha team. Ten years ago yesterday, we opened our doors in Franklin, TN. Five members of our staff have been with us since day one, and they’ve each had a big role in making our CoolSprings location a great place to work. Rebecca shared, “Over the past 10 years, I’ve made such meaningful connections with our guests and, most importantly, friendships that will last a lifetime. CoolSprings has been like a second family to me, and I’m so grateful to work for such an amazing company.” Sharon added, “I’ve gotten to work with some amazing people over the years,” and Angela, agreed saying, “It’s been an easy 10 years because I’ve met some of the best people working here, lifelong friends. The company really cares about you, and it shows.” For Jesus, The Cheesecake Factory has been “a great place to grow alongside a good team and environment.” To our entire team, congratulations on 10 years.
