Every week in Henderson, NV, we welcome a very special guest—Barbara. With her infectious energy and sweet personality, she has become a beloved part of our Cheesecake family. ? When Hosts Taylor and Kyle spot Barbara pulling into the parking lot, they always ensure someone is there to escort her safely inside and back out after her meal. And if she hasn’t come by for her usual visit, our staff makes it a point to call and check on her. ? General Manager Heather discovered she and Barbara shared the same upcoming birthday. Barbara had no family in town, so Franklyn and the team pulled off an amazing celebration. On their day off, staff members Divine, Patricia, Kyra, Kyle, Taylor, and Franklyn’s wife, Senior Manager Raziya, all came together to throw Barbara a special birthday lunch. ? As if that wasn’t enough, when Taylor, Kyle, and Kyra learned that Barbara’s walker had been stolen, they took it upon themselves to collect funds and buy her a new one. Barbara was amazed by the team’s kindness and shared that this was her first birthday party since childhood. It’s a day she said she will never forget—and neither will we. ? Big congrats to Cole on his promotion to Senior Manager! Cole joined our team as a Server back in 2019.?From day one, his positivity and dedication stood out. After becoming a Designated Trainer and then Bartender in 2021, he transitioned into management in January 2023. Now, he's taking on the Senior Manager role! What makes Cole truly shine? His approachability and genuine care for his team. He's known for his infectious smile and truly listening to staff needs. Our Houston team kicked off #HungerActionMonth by volunteering at the Houston Food Bank at the Kids Cafe.?Over the course of the afternoon,?they made nearly?850 hot lunches and 2500 cold meals!
