The election is here. The candidates are tied. We'll know the winner soon. What to make of America? How did we get to this moment? Where do we go from here? On November 14th, we're going to talk about it, and we'd love to have you in the room. The Charlotte Center has invited Adam Gopnik, legendary staff writer from The New Yorker, who has written extensively on democracy (and arts and culture and politics and philosophy), to share his thoughts on the election and to provide context on the nation today. Our format invites connection, consideration, and conversation. We're meeting in the evening at the Bechtler Museum. We'll hear music from Emanuel Wynter, remarks from Adam, a conversation on stage between Adam and Ty Shaffer. We'll invite your thoughts and talk about what's next. Join us in the best traditions of democratic citizenship: a night of critical thinking, independent judgment, and imaginative understanding. Register today:https://lnkd.in/e_AVRcKj
