Rainbows have always been a symbol of hope and reflection after a storm. This past week in Nello's Corner our 7-9 year old's wrote their hopes in the clouds. One group member wants to make sure no one will forget about her people who died and brainstormed ways to ensure that doesn't happen. This is one activity that nurtures continuing bonds, which means grief is ongoing and you can find ways to connect you to your person who died throughout your life ?

On Saturday 2/15, therapist Brian McCaffrey joined filmmaker Ryan Canney of Riverbank Creative for a dynamic discussion following a premier screening of his series, Precious Treasures. His films reflect sentimental bonds to meaningful objects and experiences and creatively highlight the grief journey to which so many can relate.?Ryan is donating a portion of the proceeds to our Center in support of the grief services that we provide to the community. We are so grateful for this new partnership and look forward to partnering on more of his creative projects in the future!
