?? CDR Policy Scoop Flavour of the week is: US Election ?? ???? Eve Tamme and I had our inaugural The CDR Policy Scoop Livestream on COP29 last week and we had a blast. Over 100 of you tuned in live (and 200 people watched it in total). So we’re back this week to chat about what the CDR industry can expect out of another Donald Trump presidency. ?? We’re thrilled to be joined by the one and only Jason Grillo from AirMiners to dig into what this Republican trifecta of control over the White House, House of Congress, and Senate means for CDR – on both federal and state level – and also the implications for the world at large. ?? There is a lot to talk about, so be sure to tune in on Wednesday @ 6PM CET | 12PM EST | 9AM PST. #CDRScoop #carbonremovals

???? The U.S. is still the place to be to work in carbon dioxide removal (#CDR) ?? Ever since CDRjobs started tracking the job market six months ago, we’ve found that over 35% of all global CDR jobs (620 roles) and 37% of all CDR companies (235 companies) are based in the U.S., leading globally by a wide margin. ?? Our 2024 Salary Report also revealed that U.S. professionals earn by far the most at $135,000 per year, much higher (69%) than the median salary for the rest of the world at $80,000.? ?? Opportunities abound: 268+ jobs in CDR in the U.S. are listed on CDRjobs *RIGHT NOW*, spanning everything from technical and consulting roles to operations, policy and strategy roles. Check them out the job board: https://lnkd.in/dMue5jMs ?? Much of the above has been enabled by conducive policy such as the Inflation Reduction Act –? a $370 billion investment with its key goal to reduce carbon emissions by around 40 percent by 2030. How will the CDR industry evolve under Trump? Many questions remain. Make sure to tune into our The CDR Policy Scoop tonight with Eve Tamme and Jason Grillo to find out more: https://lnkd.in/d6wAxpR3 ??
