?? ?? News from the Fund: IQBAR What if your snack could fuel both your body and your brain? IQBAR seeks to redefine functional snacking by combining brain-boosting ingredients with high-quality nutrition. Founder Will Nitze's approach is all about optimizing cognitive performance through food. "As a Harvard neuroscience grad, Will Nitze knew brain fuel was essential. His journey began with a simple idea: what if we could fuel our brains the same way we fuel our bodies? Fast forward, and his brand, IQBAR, has become a go-to for anyone looking to snack smarter, hydrate better, and optimize mental performance." The big takeaway: IQBAR aligns perfectly with The Cashmere Fund’s investment thesis—seeking to back founders who see where the world is headed and build products that fit into emerging lifestyle shifts. Functional food isn't a fad; we believe it's the future. Read more in The Chalkboard Mag: https://lnkd.in/eE9q9aSK See The Cashmere Fund's prospectus: https://lnkd.in/e2Pbh3yp

The big takeaways, per Kroll: ? Growing Market: New fund structures like interval and tender offer funds are letting more retail investors tap into private market opportunities.? ? Higher Returns & Diversification: Portfolio exposure to alternative assets can offer the potential for better returns and a more balanced portfolio compared to traditional stocks and bonds. ? ?? Demystifying Venture Capital: Why the Wealthy Invest Differently This is the first in a series breaking down venture capital and alternative investing—because these markets shouldn’t be a mystery, or off-limits, to everyday investors. For decades, the ultra-wealthy have allocated a significant portion of their portfolios to alternative assets like venture capital, private equity, and real estate. Why? ? Diversification: These assets don't necessarily move like stocks and bonds, reducing risk. ? Higher return potential: Backing high-growth startups early can lead to outsized gains. ? Access to exclusive opportunities: Private market investments have historically been gated by high minimums and accreditation rules. That's changing. Interval funds and fractional investing are opening doors, making it easier than ever to access high-growth private companies. Venture capital isn't just for the uber-wealthy anymore. Let's break it down: https://lnkd.in/eT5izWF3 See The Cashmere Fund's prospectus here:? https://lnkd.in/e2Pbh3yp?

  • Love to see portfolio company Earlybird on display in Times Square! ??

    Co-Founder - CEO at EarlyBird

Wow... This is a MAJOR milestone for me and the whole EarlyBird team! I was born and raised in NYC and Times Square has always been the center of the world (even though it was a place no true New Yorker ever wanted to be). Those billboards have always towered above the city entertaining all of the tourist who come to visit. Some of the biggest brands get their names etched forever on those exclusive spots. Now, seeing EarlyBird up there (even if it was for just 60 seconds) is such an amazing feeling. Thank you, Nasdaq for the honor. We are thrilled to be a finalist in the Fintech Trailblazer Contest! Hahaha having OJ watch over this moment is absolutely hilarious... Yes, we could have cropped this photo. No, we chose not to. LETS GOOOO Caleb Frankel!!!!

  • Congrats to our partners at Apex Fintech Solutions on the launch of Apex Alts, which integrates alternative investments, like The Cashmere Fund, directly into brokerage accounts. This marks a major step toward democratizing access to private credit, PE, venture capital, and more—asset classes that have historically been out of reach for most investors. At The Cashmere Fund, we're proud to be part of this evolving ecosystem. Alternative assets play a crucial role in diversified portfolios, yet access has long been limited: HNWIs allocate ~13% to alternative investments overall.* With Apex Alts, these investments become more accessible through a seamless trading experience—lowering barriers, streamlining onboarding, and expanding the market for issuers and investors alike. We're excited to see this innovation unfold and look forward to continuing to bring venture investing to more people. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gxKK8UJQ *Source: The Wealth Advisor

The rules of investing are changing—and it's good news for retail investors. Crunchbase reports that one of the top investing trends to watch in 2025 is everyday investors getting access to the private markets. For years, venture capital and private market investing have been reserved for the ultra-wealthy. But new regulations in 2025 could open the door for more everyday investors to participate in the same opportunities as institutions. At The Cashmere Fund, we didn't wait for new rules to make this possible. We identified a fund structure under existing SEC rules that allows investors to access venture-backed companies without accreditation requirements, loopholes, or special exemptions. ?? The Cashmere Fund is a closed-end investment company registered with the SEC, differing from many alternative asset types that rely on exemptions under Regulations D or A. ?? Translation? No exclusivity. No closed-door policies. Just access. Some people (looking at some of you millionaires and billionaires) like keeping the garden parties exclusive. Cashmere Fund has officially changed that. With the SEC now exploring rule changes, this shift is gaining momentum. Read the full report in Crunchbase: https://lnkd.in/eFmwvyeX?
