We're blessed to have wonderful partners in the community, including the United Way of the Greater Triangle. Their Healthy Families pillar is just one of the ways we collaborate to help homeless working families overcome the trauma of being unhoused. As one of their Impact Partners, we work together to teach in-depth financial literacy and other life skills while providing transitional housing to empower families to achieve stable housing. Thank you, United Way, for making an incredible impact in our community!

Saturday, we were fortunate to spend time with an amazing group of young men and moms! The Young Men's Service League - YMSL National in Western Wake learned about families experiencing homelessness in our community. They generously donated household supplies like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, blankets, and more for our families. Over the next several weeks, these young men and moms will also provide much-needed service on the exterior of our 14 transitional homes. We’re incredibly grateful to be your charity partner, and thank you for giving us hope for the future!
???? In real estate we often look at homes in terms of numbers and markets, but a home is so much more than this, a fact you may never fully appreciate until you've been without one. It is my belief that having a safe place to come home to and call your own is not just a dream, but a fundamental human right. This is why I feel so passionate about the mission of The Carying Place, Inc. For more than 30 years The Carying Place has served the Triangle community by teaching and empowering homeless working families with children, by providing individualized life skills lessons, short-term housing, and support services to prepare them for independent living and ultimately, HOME OWNERSHIP!! This past weekend I had the pleasure of joining my son and our West Wake Chapter of the Young Men's Service League - YMSL National as we kicked off our Ultimate Gift service project with a household donation drive for the Carying Place. Our service project will continue over the coming weeks as we work to stock, repair and improve the transitional housing properties for the Carying Place families. If you have not yet heard of this incredible organization, please check them out! They have an abundance of volunteer opportunities and other ways to give available! Let's help more families make their "journey home!" #thecaryingplace #youngmensserviceleague #endhomelessness #journeyhome #ultimategift #givingback #realestate
