?? Staff Spotlight: Dawn Montiel ?? Meet Dawn Montiel, our incredible Surgical Coordinator for Drs. Addis, Brener, Lee, Sturt, Vani, and the Newark Beth Israel Clinic surgical cases. Dawn is known for her efficiency, attention to detail, and ability to make patients feel comfortable and confident as they prepare for surgery. Before joining The Cardiovascular Care Group, Dawn spent 16 years as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and manager at Empire Medical after earning her CMA license. When asked what she loves most about working here, Dawn shared, “I love working with my coworkers and helping patients with surgeries that improve their lives and health.” Dawn’s favorite part of her job? “When a surgery is successful, and the patient can lead a more fulfilling life.” Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, shopping, and soaking up the sun at the beach. Something you might not know about Dawn? She’s a big fan of old-school rap and R&B music! ??
