But like, for real for real... are we really getting full value from every tool in our tech stack? A few years back, most RevOps stack looked like a patchwork quilt that you would have gotten from that aunt that you only see twice every 5 or so years... each tool served a purpose, but nothing was in sync. Data silos, low adoption, and teams trying to work around our own systems, is nothing but the finest of hot trash. After a few painful missteps, we realized that optimizing doesn’t mean more tools—it means better integration and purposeful use. Tech stack optimization is one of the fastest ways to unlock efficiencies in any org. s/o Hilary Headlee for teaching me early, "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" Instead of adding tools, start by 1 - Evaluating the impact of what you already have and know what your spend is getting you today. 2 - Identify redundancies and simplify workflows 3 - Ensure key data flows across the entire revenue org.
