At The Capacity Lab, our goal is to empower nonprofit organizations and leaders in Chautauqua County by aligning resources and fostering collaborative strategies. We believe that strong nonprofits are the backbone of thriving communities, and by strengthening their capacity, we can help amplify their impact. The initiative is collective approach across several local funders that seeks to strengthen the local nonprofit sector through three strategic objectives: 1. Connecting nonprofits with resources and one another 2. Strengthening the talent pipeline by investing in local nonprofit professionals 3. Supporting shared services to increase organizational sustainability and impact The Capacity Lab launched in 2018, its program and resource offerings have and continue to be directly informed by data and feedback from local nonprofits.
