Thank you UNCF for inviting us to the celebration of #HillmanTok. This event in collaboration with TikTok celebrated the social media marvel and educational revolution created by Dr. Leah Barlow. Dr. Barlow began her course in African American studies and inspired global creators to create courses in accounting, woodwork, cooking, and endless more all in digestible shortform video formats. With more than 4.5 million views, #HillmanTok broke down the barriers of education sharing valuable knowledge across a variety of topics. To support more educational change, donate to UNCF at UNCF.org/donate. #HillmanTok #UNCF #TheBlackTechCollective #TBTC #TBTCLink #TogetherWeLink #BlackInTech

Happy Women's History Month! The Black Tech Collective recently participated in the KID Museum’s Women's History Month Celebration where we shared information about history-making Black women in STEM and hosted author Helaine Becker. The event provided an interactive, hands-on STEM experience for children, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and engagement with technology. At our table, kids learned about incredible women who have shaped our world-past and present. They explored the contributions of mathematician Katherine Johnson who helped send astronauts to space; Mary Anderson, the inventor of GPS; and trailblazers in the automotive industry like Gladys West. TBTC Board Members Farrah Holifield, MBA and Lauren Pate also shared their experiences working in tech, inspiring kids to see themselves in these fields in the future. #BlackinTech #WomeninSTEM #TBTCLink #TheBlackTechCollective #TBTC #TogetherWeLink #RepresentationMatters

The Black Tech Collective Board had the opportunity to speak at the University of Maryland about our career paths, our experiences in tech, and the impact of representation at every stage of our careers. Moderated by Angel Jones, Ph.D., this discussion brought together professionals from cybersecurity, engineering, marketing, and communications, —each with unique experiences but a common goal: a dedication to solving challenges and improving the tech landscape. We’re grateful for the chance to share our stories and inspire the next generation. What advice would you give to someone navigating their career in tech? #TheBlackTechCollective #TBTCLink #TogetherWeLink #BlackInTech #CareerGrowth #DiversityInTech #Leadership

Incredible tech minds converged during CES 2025 to unleash big ideas, bold voices, and game-changing conversations. Our founder, Emily Hawkins, led a dynamic panel discussion on how personalized work experiences, leadership, and emerging technologies are redefining the modern workforce. Joining her on stage were Ganesha Rasiah, Suezette Yasmin Robotham, M.S., and Alejandra Ceja, who shared their insights on innovation and representation. In addition, The Black Tech Collective co-hosted a reception for Black and Brown tech leaders in collaboration with Black Girl Ventures BGV. Attendees exchanged valuable perspectives on building community, staying relevant in a fast-paced tech landscape, and exploring the future of AI. We're proud to be part of these transformative conversations at CES (powered by Consumer Technology Association) that are shaping the future of tech. #TheBlackTechCollective?#CES2025?#InnovationForAll?#BlackGirlVentures?#WomenInTech?#CommunityFirst?#AI?#TechLeadership
