The Better Foundation was established out of the U.S. in 2020 as a private foundation and endowment focused on making the world a better place through philanthropy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are now on a mission to make 10 million people financially secure and 1 million people financially independent. Our movement is aligned with UN SDG 4 and 10. We believe that everyone has a right to financial security and the pursuit of a better life. When people are better off, they have greater means to transform our world. In this way, we can achieve the UN SDGs and make the world a better place together. Our movement helps people of all generations to Work Better, Earn Better, Save Better, Invest Better, Retire Better and ultimately Live Better. We're funding content including tips, guides, stories, activities and events with experts who have achieved FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early) by age 40. We are also funding a like-minded community to swap stories and experiences at different stages of financial security and FIRE, support each other's efforts and help everyone stay the course.
