Wondering how a waitlist works? Know that a waitlist is not a guarantee, you can hold a deposit at only ONE college, and it’s important to have a Plan A by May 1st. If you are offered admission from the waitlist it can come in May, June or July. You decide if you want that spot at that time. If so, it will require you to immediately withdraw from your Plan A school & forfeit the original deposit you made there while moving forward with enrollment at the school you’re now admitted to. Waitlists require flexibility in your planning, and vary widely school to school in the likelihood of admission.
