Congratulations to Romney Cullers, partner at The Becker Law Firm, for securing a record-setting $4.5M+ verdict in The Court of Claims of Ohio. The case involved the tragic death of a young man after he was negligently prescribed lethal doses of opioids by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following surgery. This historic verdict honors the young man’s family, including his wife and three children, underscores the importance of accountability in patient care, and demonstrates the power of justice and accountability. The Becker Law Firm is proud to announce that our very own nurse, and soon-to-be lawyer, Christina Getto, has been selected to be part of the University of Akron Law School’s National Civil Trial Competition (NCTC) team! The NCTC team is comprised of the top four students in the program, and last year they brought home the National Championship under the guidance of coach, and The Becker Law Firm partner, Dave Oeschger. With her brains, talent, and relentless work effort, we have full faith that Christina will help the team come home in November as back-to-back champs! Congrats, Christina!
