The Bakken Museum inspires a passion for innovation by exploring the potential for science, technology and the humanities to make the world a better place. Established in 1975 by Earl Bakken (co-founder of Medtronic), The Bakken Museum has a range of exhibits and collections that tell the story of electricity, technology and innovation through science and the arts. The Museum is home to more than 2,500 artifacts and 11,000 books and manuscripts. Set in the picturesque West Winds Mansion on Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis, The Bakken Museum also includes the Florence Bakken Medicinal Garden, Dakota Native Plants Garden, and one of the first green roofs in the Twin Cities.

Retired AI researcher helping educational organizations integrate AI into their classrooms
We had a wonderful Robot Day event at The Bakken Museum yesterday with over 16 volunteers consisting of teachers, engineers, professors, students and AI researchers all contributing to the discussion. This was the first time we saw a chatbot (Ollama) running on a Raspberry Pi with the new AI Hat. We also had a demo of the new smaller SunFounder AI car that runs on a smaller track but still uses the same process we developed for the AI Racing League. And personally, I think our new LED Noodle lanyards were a big hit with the kids and showed how we can quickly integrate new colorful technology into these events. Thanks again to Justin Spencer, Parker Erickson, Arun Batchu, Alona McCreary, Shannon Seaver NBCT, Sharat Batra, Roshan Venugopal, Troy A. Peterson, John Guanghui Chen, Aarya B., Margaret (Peggy) McCreary, Ahmed Y.
