Book Club Meet! We’re thrilled to announce the success of our recent Book Club event, which saw a fantastic turnout! Each month, employees take the initiative to guide discussions on their favorite books. Mr.?Bartosz Jarmolowicz?and?Sameer Tiwari?led the sessions subsequently. Celebrating Bahrain Sports Day! ??♂??? We had an incredible time recently at the Isa Town Depot, celebrating Bahrain Sports Day! The event was filled with exciting activities, including a walkathon, tug of war, spoon and lemon races, and much more. We aimed to foster health, wellness, and teamwork among our employees. With over 50 participants from various departments, it was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to engage in physical activities and strengthen bonds. The walkathon highlighted our commitment to employee wellbeing and aligned with our Group initiative “Be Well,” which encourages healthy lifestyles and promotes physical, mental, and overall wellness. Each department was beautifully adorned with national flags and local artifacts, while our employees embraced their heritage by wearing traditional attire. The creativity showcased was truly impressive. We organized a pottery painting competition and various decoration contests to highlight outstanding teamwork and innovation. During the Connect event, we recognized the teams for their exceptional office decorations and announced the winners of the pottery painting competition. At BPTC, we are committed to supporting environmental initiatives as part of our National Action Plan for achieving carbon neutrality. We strive to embed sustainability into our workplace culture while upholding our community values. As part of this event, we’re planting trees at various locations, with many contributions coming from our employees. Our team has also transformed green spaces near our office buildings, and we plan to expand these efforts across multiple sites. BPTC is committed to supporting the Kingdom’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. We will continue to plant saplings as we welcome new team members, raising awareness and contributing to national and global efforts for environmental security. We’d also like to recognize our Community Champions — Abdulla Al Barbari, Hariharan Ramalingom, Sameer Tiwari, and Abbas AbdulNabi —for their outstanding efforts, along with Mr. Fernando Unay Gargabite, in establishing vegetable gardens at our employee accommodations, providing fresh produce for daily use. World Mental Health Day A?Mental Health Workshop?was organized for our employees by Bushra Alhindi, founder and CEO of Bushra Alhindi for Workplace Wellbeing, in collaboration with our learning partner Lumofy | ???????. "Breast Cancer Awareness " Breast Cancer Awareness session for our colleagues, led by Dr. Rebeka R. Thaman, Specialist in General Surgery from KIMS Health Hospital. The session took place in the Idea Souq at the Isa Town Depot. Female colleagues from various departments attended, and our goal was to empower each other with knowledge while fostering a supportive environment for discussing prevention, early detection, and treatment options. Breast cancer is a significant health concern, but education and awareness can help us confront it effectively. By understanding the risks, recognizing the signs, and promoting regular screenings, we can positively impact our lives and the lives of those we care about.
