The Baby Fold is a nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to the well-being of children and families since 1902. We successfully impact over 1200 people a year with a wide array of programs all designed to wrap services around children and strengthen families. Our life-changing programs range from Adoption Support to Foster care, to special education through our Hammitt School and early intervention programs that give children a healthy start in life. The Baby Fold is Mclean County’s 24th largest employer with 260 staff who reach out across 28 counties to help children throughout Central Illinois. Through The Baby Fold's Caregiver Connections program, we provide direct support to childcare providers—whether in home care, daycare, or other settings—across 19 counties in Illinois. This complimentary program assists providers in recognizing, understanding, and addressing the social and emotional needs of children from birth to age five. Together, we are enhancing caregiving environments and fostering brighter futures for young children.
