Our Women in Leadership Employee Resource Group gathered last week to pack hygiene kits and write affirmation cards for I Support The Girls. Collectively we donated more than 4,000 pads, 3,000 tampons and three large boxes of undergarments, and packed hundreds of kits for people experiencing homelessness or in need. Thank you to all those who joined us!

On November 14 we proudly hosted Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day in partnership with Hope Hill Elementary in Atlanta. This event celebrated the bravery and legacy of Ruby Bridges, whose steps, at just six-years-old, became a powerful symbol of the Civil Rights Movement when she integrated into an all-white school in 1960. We were honored to have Gene Boehm, president and CEO of AAA, and many of our partners, such as Safe Kids Worldwide, Georgia Safe Routes to School Resource Center, City of Atlanta Department of Transportation and The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, join us as we honored Ruby’s legacy of courage and inclusion. Thank you to Hope Hill Elementary and all of the students, educators and community members who walked together on this meaningful day. We are inspired by the young minds who take steps towards progress!
