Our recently released Special Education Experience (SEE) Survey report is helping us shape a brighter future and more inclusive educational system for students with disabilities in Michigan by focusing on: ??Equity in resource allocation ??Supporting behavioral and medically necessary interventions in the school setting ??Decreasing use of exclusionary practices ??Addressing disparities in discipline ??Raising graduation rates ??Enhancing the process of identifying student needs These steps, alongside much-needed updates to state laws and transparency in disciplinary data, will help us create a stronger system and a more equitable future for all students.
