On March 5, The Chamber's Transportation committee hosted representatives from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), who updated attendees about Metro Vision: A shared vision for our region's future, and the 2050 Metro Vision Regional Transportation Plan. Today, we had an incredible Buckley Regional Military Affairs Council (BRMAC) meeting, hosted by the Colorado National Guard at their headquarters. A huge thank you to ENT Credit Union for sponsoring our breakfast! During the meeting, we had the honor of sharing exciting news – Major General Laura Clellan, The Adjutant General of Colorado, has been selected as the Aurora Chamber’s Woman of the Year! This well-deserved recognition celebrates her leadership, service, and commitment to our military and community. On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Aurora Police Department Chief Todd Chamberlain joined the Chamber Board meeting to share key department statistics and discuss ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and impactful policing. Chief Chamberlain emphasized the importance of accurate information and working collaboratively with the community to ensure that public safety efforts are understood and truly making a difference.
