Cycles of work and rest are so important. They are also biblical! In the Leviticus 25 the Israelites are commanded to not only take sabbath for themselves but to let the land rest as well. We have worked hard all year to help our neighbors #worshipwell and #EatWell. We impacted over 100 families this year and look forward to serving and working alongside many more in the coming year. And now as winter descends we are taking a break alongside the land that we are blessed to steward. We hope that you will take some time to rest as well as the year draws to a close. The mission of The Atlanta Ecumenical Urban Farm Network is to help Metro Atlanta Worship Well and Eat Well. We exist to eliminate food insecurity in the Atlanta Metro area and to educate and empower communities of faith to enhance their mission and ministry to their surrounding communities by using their lands in a more worshipful manner. We partner with communities of faith across the religious spectrum to build and operate micro-farms on their land and then distribute the produce in the communities where it was grown.
