?? Giving back to our community! ?? Five of our incredible TAGgies (Joseph Cook, Julie Lynch, CISR ELITE, Kimberly Clark, Candy Rounds and Andrew Martinez) volunteered this morning at United Food Bank with folks from one of our carrier partners, working together to pack 1,530 emergency food bags for our neighbors in need. ???? These bags provide critical support to families facing food insecurity, ensuring they have access to essential nutrition. Special thanks to West Bend Insurance Company for putting this together and allowing us to join you in such an incredible effort! And a big "thank you" to Sam Hanson, CIC, Tricia Johnson, CPCU, Jenny Galindo, Beth Penrod and Samantha Maier for serving with us. ?? Celebrating Ryan Sutherland’s 1-Year TAGiversary! ?? Please join us in celebrating Ryan Sutherland, a talented Commercial Lines Producer, on his first TAGiversary with The Arizona Group Insurance Brokers! Ryan’s path to insurance is a story of unexpected opportunities, starting with a round of golf. ? After being laid off from a mortgage company, a friend-of-a-friend suggested insurance as a career path. After doing his research and getting licensed, Ryan was connected to TAG through his college roommate, who works with Ironwood Financial, a TAG partner—and the rest is history! Born and raised in Chicago, Ryan is a die-hard fan of Chicago sports teams (which, let’s be honest, hasn’t been easy lately). His family history is just as fascinating—his mother’s ancestry research traced their lineage back to William Wallace (Braveheart), while his father is honorably laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. His brother has also served as a 911 dispatcher for nearly 20 years. Ryan’s hobbies include golf, playing bags (Cornhole for those outside the Midwest), grilling out, and perfecting his chili recipe. He’s a major concert junkie, having seen Eric Church over 20 times, Kenny Chesney 18 times, and Bon Jovi 12 times! ?? When he’s not at a show, you’ll find him watching Good Will Hunting, Goodfellas, music documentaries, Justified, or The Sopranos. ?? Ryan and his wife Jen—who spent nearly 20 years as a 911 dispatcher ?? before becoming a Support Services Manager for a Public Safety software company—are proud dog parents to Kensie, their 10-year-old spoiled pup. ?? And here’s a fun fact: Ryan has never eaten a fried egg in almost 50 years! Scrambled city over here! ?? Ryan, we’re so glad that round of golf led you to TAG, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. Tori and her family fell in love with Arizona after her brother’s State Farm job brought him out here. They recently returned from celebrating her niece Vivian’s first birthday back in Illinois and are grateful to be back in the sunshine! ?? ? Tori’s career has taken her through several industries, but she found her way into insurance mid-pandemic—and we’re glad she did! She’s bringing her enthusiasm and experience to TAG, and we couldn’t be happier to have her. ? Outside of work, Tori is all about baseball, music, and traveling—sometimes even combining all three for a long weekend adventure! ????? She just saw Gary Clark Jr. & Beck at Innings Fest and is gearing up for Kacey Musgraves next weekend! ? At home, Tori’s best buddy is Butters, her boyfriend’s Australian Shepherd Lab mix. ?? ?? Celebrating Julie Lynch, CISR ELITE’s 7-Year TAGiversary! ?? Please join us in celebrating Julie Lynch, a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager, on her 7-year milestone with The Arizona Group Insurance Brokers! Julie’s journey to insurance is a testament to how life comes full circle. Her career started as a carhop at Sonic, but her path led her to insurance when her younger sister, who was cold-calling for an American Family agency, connected her to a job opening at another agency. Julie worked there for 9 years before stepping away to help run her family’s successful painting business for over 20 years. When the economy shifted in 2008, she returned to insurance, working at another independent agency in Mesa for 5 years, specializing in agricultural and commercial accounts. Then, in 2018, she joined TAG—and we’re so lucky she did! Originally from Trenton, Missouri, Julie finds joy in the simple things—spending time with her husband of 38 years, daily 3-mile walks, baking, and listening to music, podcasts, and audiobooks (she highly recommends Let Them by Mel Robbins!). Her favorite artists include NeedToBreathe and Chris Stapleton, and her favorite quote is: "The smallest deed is better than the greatest intention." – John Burroughs Julie and her husband have two children—Josh (40) in Texas and their daughter (30), who recently moved to Texas and is also working here at TAG—and five dogs. Together, Julie and her husband run a non-profit ministry, Christian Mentors Network, where they mentor and encourage individuals in their faith journey. Myrna is not only a highly respected Commercial Lines Producer, but she is also one of our original TAGgies, joining the agency in 1994 as our 9th team member after working with one of our founding principals at another agency. Myrna has been paving the way long before remote work was mainstream—she was one of TAG’s original remote partners, proving that dedication and excellence have no boundaries. Her contributions over the past three decades have left a lasting impact on our agency, and we are beyond grateful for her unwavering commitment.
