We've reached an exciting milestone for The Arena Group! ?? Last month, we hosted our first-ever Leasing Retreat–a two-day event designed to equip our community specialists for a successful upcoming leasing season. We packed the schedule full of presentations that dove deep into our business' core processes and the team's expectations and responsibilities. We also made sure to mix in plenty of games, a scavenger hunt, role-playing scenarios, and great food to keep the energy high. We even held a brief chapel on Sunday morning led by our Director of Operations, Evagail Calvert (a Kanakuk Institute alum) to remind us of the heart behind our pursuit of excellence and care for our communities' residents. We wrapped up the weekend with a written and verbal final assessment, with members of our leadership team acting as judges and giving their stamp of approval! This retreat was a huge step forward for The Arena Group as we continue to invest in our Community Specialists and grow the role into a valuable part-time job for students. Here's to a strong leasing season and a dedicated, well-prepared team! ??

Two weeks ago, we took over management of University Heights, our fourth student-living community in College Station ?? We are handling the marketing, leasing, maintenance, and management for 89 units and the HOA for all 168 units in the neighborhood. ? Our first order of business was collecting feedback from 50 current residents. The great news is that students love living at University Heights. 91% of residents would confidently recommend living there to a friend, and 44% plan to renew their lease next year (well above the market's standard renewal rate)! The even BETTER news is that the #1 change current residents want to see in their community is more events and opportunities to connect with their neighbors. And THAT is The Arena Group's bread and butter ?? In just two weeks, we have: ??♂? Hosted a free rock-climbing night at Stone Co. Climbing Gym ?? Invited residents to join their sister property's famous Rock Paper Scissors tournament for the chance to win $5,000 ? Hosted our first of many Coffee Fridays this morning with our friends at Gogh Gogh Coffee Company Get used to it, University Heights! You're a part of the Arena Group family now!
