I am seeing this everywhere and loving it! A voice like the Colin Farrell Foundation brings much-needed awareness that organizations like The Arc of Virginia and so many others have been striving for. This attention will do so much good for the disability rights movement. Thank you, Mr. Farrell, and thank you to your son for sharing his story. The 'Are You (in)?' Campaign was created by people with disabilities, their families, and allies to raise awareness that communities are strongest when they are welcoming and inclusive to everyone who lives there. 关于我们
The Arc of Virginia promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. The Arc of Virginia is the state chapter of The Arc, and is comprised of 26 local chapters across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Each chapter serves as a resource to help people with ID/DD access the services they need, providing family support throughout the process. The Arc advocates for all people with ID/DD, regardless of age, diagnosis or complexity of support needs. This includes those who live in the community, as well as those who live in institutions.

Yesterday, we joined the Governor as he signed multiple bills into law that are important to our community. Board member Dr. Ayah Ibrahim shared her thoughts on the recent funding and policy changes. As the mother of Amelie, whose name means 'my hope' in Arabic, she expressed our hope that the efforts of our Governor, lawmakers, and many allies will bring positive change to our commonwealth. We aim to create a proactive system fostering an integrated and inclusive society across Virginia.
