We’ve come a long way since we filmed our crowd funding campaign video in March (thanks, Emmanuel Pezoa and dBArcade). The product existed after just a couple of months of planning, but Richmond didn’t yet know what Richmond Water was. Since then, we completed our campaign (although we missed our targets), set up at markets and events around town, held a launch party, and invited a bunch of people to follow us on social media along the way. Two weeks ago, tourism bureaus from across Virginia got to see what we’re doing thanks to Richmond Region Tourism, Groundwork RVA gave a bottle of Richmond Water to every attendee at their 10-year celebration and Sefton Coffee Company LLC and Hilton Richmond Downtown ordered their first resupplies. Not to mention Dean Francis from OneBridge Advisors has been building bridges all over Richmond by handing out our water at business events and to his customers after placing a large order in August. Today, we delivered our third shipment of water to our first retail partner, Richmond Volleyball Club and we’re processing an order for Style Weekly to help them celebrate their relaunch in December. Give us something else to do? Each week, we look for new retail partners that would be a good fit and we offer to drop off samples to get the conversation started. One major thing that has kept us going aside from new and returning customers is the support of our community. We’re grateful for your likes, shares, retail partner suggestions, connections, and encouragement. We can’t do it without you and we’re just so grateful. As we close out the year, please talk to the owners of your favorite stores about Richmond Water and let us know where we should drop off samples. We have locations across the city and one in Henrico, but we’re looking for spots in Midlo, Hanover, and the rest of greater RVA. And Iif you know the buyers at Ellwood Thompson's Local Market, please put in a good word.
