As all major #TV bundlers who publicly report subscriber numbers have now showed their Q4 cards -- I took a look at where the TV bundle #cordcutting numbers netted out in Q4 in today's WAKEUP at The Ankler. Definitely some improvement YoY, but there were also some notable strategy changes at some top players. Plus #DirecTV is expanding on its newly won bundling freedom to create packages that really . . . don't make much sense. See what they're coming to the American consumer with, and how much they're asking for. #cableTV #subscribers #fubo #charter https://lnkd.in/e6MNeBSC

Michael Wolff's tell-all book about Trump's 2024 campaign has been called a "FAKE JOB" by Trump and Wolff himself a "lying sack of s***" by Trump's communications director. Yet Wolff views these statements as staff trying to "cover their asses." In a wide-ranging interview with Janice Min, Wolff details his visit with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, if the transformation of Gaza into the “Riviera of the Middle East” will happen, his exact prediction for when Trump and Musk blow up and what’s so very wrong with the very down-on-its-heels and shell-shocked Democrats https://lnkd.in/ez7RPUPd

Publishers are using different kinds of standalone newsletter subscriptions to grow revenue and, in some cases, offer lower priced tiers to see if they can convert readers around popular products without the financial commitment to the more expensive full digital subscription. For example, Bloomberg has moved 30 of its 70 newsletters behind a paywall, and introduced a new paid offering for a bundle of five tech-focused newsletters. It’s the first time the business publication has offered a subscription tier separate from the full subscription to Bloomberg.com and the Bloomberg app.? In this piece by Sara Guaglione, we speak to Marissa Zanetti, Perrin Lawrence of Axios, Sarah Ebner of Financial Times, and Janice Min of The Ankler.
