This week, APS stepped up to help the BISSELL Pet Foundation rescue dogs from a commercial breeder. We transferred 10 small dogs into our program, all of whom needed medical and behavioral help before they could find loving homes. Of the 10, there were 3-4 who were in desperate need of grooming before their spay and neuter appointments, and we turned to our #partners at Woofie's for help. They swiftly offered us appointments and took extra special care of our dogs, resulting in some amazing #transformations. All of the dogs will be spayed and neutered this week and will be available for adoption soon! Our animals are here for you to visit between 10:30-5pm weekdays and 10-2pm Saturdays. Come find a new snuggle buddy, best friend or roommate at APS! We've got lots of dogs, cats and even rabbits to introduce to you and your family. ??

Our shelter will be CLOSED to the public tomorrow, January 11th due to inclement weather. We will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, January 13th. We are thrilled to report that we earned $10,289 on #GivingTuesday! These donations provide us with the essential resources to cover the costs of care for animals like Orbit. His enucleation surgery and heartworm treatment cost over $1,000 with over six months of care. APS is proud of the work we do and so grateful to our supporters and friends.
