Do you see the joy of registering people to vote and civic engagement? ?? The Pastor Center and The Andrew Goodman Foundation partnered with Undergraduate Student Government - Downtown to host the National Voter Registration Expo and Town Hall Luncheon On. The panel discussion on voting in the 2024 elections was moderated by Andrew Goodman Ambassador Anish Verma. Panelists included Maricopa County Elections Director Scott Jarrett, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State C. Murphy Hebert, USGD Student Body President Seanika Mathis, and Voter Education Manager with Citizens Clean Elections Avery Xola. This week, we are celebrating High School Voter Registration Week (Sept. 23-27)—a powerful opportunity to get young people who will be 18 by the November election registered! We are also excited to announce the Living the Legacy Scholarship, designed to recognize and support high school seniors who demonstrate exemplary civic leadership in their schools and communities.
