This week, the American Salvage Association (ASA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG) wrapped up a successful 3-day Marine Salvage Response Course at Base Alameda.?This training marks 22 years of collaboration between ASA and USCG. Over the course of the training, responders gained critical skills in: ·????????The business of marine salvage ·????????Salvage marine firefighting regulations ·????????Safety in commercial diving operations ·????????Heavy lift, rigging & emergency towing techniques ASA Training Committee Chair J.J. Winston emphasized the importance of this program: "By providing hands-on training and expert insights, we ensure responders are prepared to handle complex salvage operations safely and efficiently." The American Salvage Association’s Annual Meeting was a resounding success, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and experts to collaborate, share insights, and celebrate a year of achievements in salvage operations. ?
