  • Our final panelist for our E-Connects: Healthcare Landscape virtual webinar on March 26 from 11-12PM is Dr. Tiffany Cooke. Dr. Cooke has devoted nearly 12 years to pediatric medicine in Chester County, Pennsylvania. As the Medical Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital, she is passionate about advancing equitable healthcare and addressing health disparities in collaboration with local partners. A certified breastfeeding counselor with a background in bioethics and healthcare administration, Dr. Cooke brings a well-rounded, patient-centered approach to her practice and community.   • Our next panelist for E-Connects: Healthcare Landscape in Coatesville is Union Community Care's President and CEO, Alisa Maria Jones! Join us virtually on March 26 from 11-12PM to engage in a conversation surrounding Challenges, Opportunities, and Solutions Greater Coatesville faces. Alisa leads Union's work to provide healthcare that is person-focused, grounded in community, and driven by purpose—not profit. Before joining Union, she served as CEO of a community health center in Chester County, PA. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade as Delaware’s Director of Maternal and Child Health, working to improve public health outcomes at a statewide level. With expertise in public health and community healthcare, Alisa specializes in program development, strategic planning, and leadership development. She is dedicated to strengthening healthcare systems that prioritize equity, accessibility, and whole-person care. Alisa is focused on reshaping healthcare to meet people where they are—bringing together medical care, dental care, social support, and behavioral health services to create a care experience that reflects the community.   • Our first panelist for our upcoming E-Connects: Healthcare Landscape in Coatesville is Dr. Janet Jacapraro. This virtual webinar will take place on March 26th from 11-12PM. Dr. Jacapraro is the Medical Director and a primary care physician at Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM), a free medical and dental clinic serving uninsured individuals in Chester County. Previously, she worked in outpatient care at Penn Medicine and served as medical director at two FQHCs in Baltimore: Chase Brexton Health Services and Health Care for the Homeless. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins-Bayview Medical Center. Her work focuses on providing compassionate, comprehensive care to underserved populations, with expertise in homelessness, substance use disorders, and HIV. At CVIM, she conducts patient exams, manages chronic conditions, and oversees medical operations to ensure accessible, culturally competent, and patient-centered care. We had a wonderful turnout and appreciate all who participated in the conversation about the exciting healthcare transition happening at AHE’s Brandywine Center.   • Collaboration in Action! Through the Alliance for Health Equity's Seed-and-Scale program, we are proud to host the CEO/ED Peer Group Program—a monthly luncheon series exclusively for Executive Directors and CEOs of our Seed-and-Scale partners. Our latest session took place last Thursday, where we came together to share insights, spark meaningful discussions, and continue fostering a strong sense of community. These luncheons, held on alternating months, are designed to promote peer collaboration. We can't wait for the next one!

It was a wonderful event where the team was able to connect, learn about experiences from Resource Navigators, and connect with Union on their services provided!
