The AI marketing paradox: 92% of marketers say AI has impacted their roles But only 16% know how to measure its impact When the line between human and machine blurs, traditional metrics seem to be falling short. I think we need to focus less on who (or what) created the content, and more on the actual results. After all we wouldn’t say: “I used Google to help me research this topic” We’d say: “I researched this topic” AI-powered marketers aren't just optimising processes, they're reimagining what's actually possible: → Creating personalised experiences at scale → Building stronger connections with their audiences → Eliminating admin and creating time to be…well, creative So how do we actually measure AI impact? I'd start with these 3 practical metrics: 1. Time saved per AI-assisted task (track hours before/after) 2. Content production velocity (volume produced in same timeframe) 3. Conversion rate differences between AI vs. non-AI content Map out educated guesses of time saved for practical tasks. For example: I know writing up sales call notes and writing a follow-up email used to take me about 30 minutes at least.?Now it takes me about 5 minutes. Another example: Writing strong proposals used to take me around 3 hours. Now I have a Claude Project and AI note takers to help and it takes me about 1 hour. The metrics that really matter are those that connect AI use to business outcomes - not just the adoption rates that people seem so focused on. What matters now isn't how much AI you use. But how intelligently you apply it to create value. I got all these stats from Hubspot’s latest report: The State of Marketing.?You can download this here: https://lnkd.in/gV2CCHSS PS I wrote this post in collaboration with Hubspot PPS Yes they paid me PPPS It’s going towards my new garden decking ??

On March 6, the global AI community was left stunned as Manus, the world’s first fully autonomous AI agent, launched in Shenzhen. ?? Why Manus Is a Game-Changer: Manus’s multi-agent architecture and cloud-based asynchronous operation allow it to: ?? Execute Complex Tasks Independently: From screening job candidates to designing marketing campaigns, Manus operates without human guidance. ?? Multi-Agent Collaboration: A central executor coordinates specialized sub-agents to manage complex workflows efficiently. ?? Self-Directed Problem Solving: It dynamically adapts its approach based on new information, making it the first truly self-directed AI agent. ?? Integration with 29 Tools: Manus seamlessly integrates with APIs, runs scripts, and even builds software autonomously. ?? No Human Supervision Needed: Unlike ChatGPT-4 or Google’s Gemini, Manus doesn’t wait for prompts — it proactively solves problems. #AIRevolution #TechBreakthrough #AutonomousAI #ChinaTech

Data centres require huge amounts of energy to power AI computing. This poses a dual challenge: first, how can we meet the high energy needs of AI data centres? And second, how does this align with net zero targets? Derreck Van Gelderen and I discuss this and more in The AI Journal. The challenge isn't just more power but smarter power: efficiency breakthroughs, load shifting, and sustainable on-site generation will be critical levers in keeping data centre lights on while staying green.? ?
