Next stage of Sport England’s place based work has been announced.
Announcing 53 new Place Expansion Partnerships as part of #SportEngland’s ￡250m investment into Place based work aiming to address regional inequalities in activity levels. Each area is in the top 10% of the country for inactivity, social need, deprivation and health inequality. By partnering with organisations, including Active Partnerships, local government and the health service, we are extending our work in communities across the country to ensure those in greatest need can be active. Signalling, which is a simple but very useful communication tool, fulfils the same role.
