She is currently a student at Northern Arizona University, and has plans to attend law school in the fall of 2025 to become a prosecuting attorney with a focus in rehabilitation. On this week's?#TeamMemberTuesday?we are introducing Makayla Maraganis! Makayla rejoined The 928 Law Firm in August of 2022. She practices as an associate attorney for estate planning and probate matters and manages the firm's day-to-day operations as our chief operating officer. Makayla also worked at The 928 Law Firm as a full-time undergraduate law clerk in where she supported the firm's lawyers in representing clients in a wide variety of practice areas. While in law school, Makayla performed advocacy work with Oregon's Clean Slate Coalition Expungement Workgroup as well as a separate workgroup advocating for the passage of Oregon's Equity Investment Act. It's time for?#TeamMemberTuesday. This week we are highlighting our founder and CEO Brian Webb! After spending the first part of his legal career working in non-profit legal services, Brian started the 928 Law Firm in 2015. As of January 2022, Brian has taken on a full-time role as the firm's chief executive officer, and now primarily focuses on running the firm's strategic operations. On this week's #TeamMemberTuesday we are highlighting our Case Manager and Paralegal Pamela Hobbs-Laventall! Pamela joined The 928 Law Firm in October of 2020 as an Undergraduate Intern. After earning her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, two minors, and Permaculture Certificate from NAU in 2021, she joined the firm full time as a Legal Assistant and Data Entry Clerk. She is now the firm's Case Manager. Pamela completed her Paralegal Certificate in November of 2022. Born in Mississippi, into a military family, she has lived in several different states from Alabama to Alaska. She has since settled into her life in Flagstaff, where she lives with her husband and son. Besides spending time with her family, Destiny enjoys singing in a local band with her husband. She is extremely dedicated to her craft and has established herself as one of the best singers in the region.
