Today, we celebrate TGRWA Principal Roger Reckers for an exceptional milestone: a monumental 35 years with TGRWA! Roger is a Founding Partner and Past President of TGRWA. Prior to establishing TGRWA, Roger was a Founding Partner at Gavlin & Reckers. Roger has served as Partner-In-Charge of multiple major projects including the Tribune Tower Renovation, Van Buren & Franklin Condominium and the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies. He is a returning lecturer at Purdue University and has been an active guest lecturer at the University of Illinois, Urbana - Champaign and IIT. He was a past president of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois and has served on the Civil Engineering Bowen Laboratory Advisory Council for Purdue University. Roger received the CE Alumni Achievement Award from Purdue University in 2006. In 2022, the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois awarded Roger with the John Parmer Award for lifetime achievement in Structural Engineering. Congratulations on 35 years, Roger!

Michael Justice, S.E., TGRWA, LLC Principal, co-presented at the 2024 NCSEA Summit in Las Vegas on November 8th with Mark Blankenship, WTW A&E Director of Risk Management. The “Sharing the Story of an Actual Claim Against a Structural Engineer” presentation is part of NCSEA’s efforts in launching a Professional Liability Claim Reduction Program tailored to help the structural engineering community share professional practice and risk management lessons learned.
