It was a privilege to attend the Bruin Capital Leadership Summit. As always, it was great for TGI Sport to connect with our major shareholder, delve into the global sports industry and engage in some stimulating discussions. The impressive roster of speakers was inspiring, none more so than Team TGI Sport’s Sir Chris Hoy who, deservedly, received a standing ovation. ? Thank you to George Pyne and all at Bruin Capital.
Recently, in London, we had the privilege of bringing together an extraordinary assembly of international leaders, sports commissioners, owners, C-suite?executives, and Bruin Capital portfolio companies for our annual leadership summit. We engaged in deep discussions about?the sweeping economic, geopolitical,?and technological shifts disrupting the world and reshaping global sports. As leaders, it's important to understand what's going on in the world, how it shapes industries,?and how we and our companies can be prepared for the inevitable shifting tides. The summit began with remarkable insights from former UK PM Sir Tony Blair, former Executive Vice President of the European Commission, Margrethe Vestager, and former MI6 chief Sir Alex Younger, who spoke candidly about global challenges. Sean West, co-founder of Hence Technologies and former Eurasia Group Deputy CEO, delivered a bold exploration of modern business risk in today's volatile world. We explored this new landscape of volatility in sports alongside tremendous opportunities emerging from AI and innovative investment models with Apollo’s?Lee Solomon?and Spotify’s Christian Luiga. British AI innovation was brilliantly represented by Toby Lewis?(Darktrace),?Grace Cassy?(CyLon), Daniel Verten?(Synthesia), and Justin Hackney?(ElevenLabs). Additional perspectives on the cities of the future came from visionary architects Stuart Wood (Heatherwick studio) and Christopher Lee?(Populous). A big highlight was hearing from Sir Chris Hoy?who inspired us all. He is a legend and a hero. Our sincere thanks to moderators Emily Maitlis, Jason Kelly, Professor Hannah Fry, Professor Martin Carlsson Wall, and?Simon Kuper, who expertly guided our discussions. The summit's final days featured our portfolio company CEOs sharing frontline innovations and collaboration opportunities with the Bruin family. We were inspired by Matthew Syed's insights on growth mindsets, Nishma Patel Robb's LinkedIn branding masterclass, and Professor Vincent Walsh's wisdom on optimal team composition.?The FT's Simon?Kuper also?dug into the economics of international football. These three days of knowledge-sharing and relationship-building have energized our collective vision for 2025. Congratulations to all involved at TGI Sport (Australia) ??
This summer was quite literally record breaking for cricket in Australia. TGI Sport is incredibly proud to have partnered with the Cricket Australia team to bring the new Summer Festival brand to life across the nation! It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Joel Morrison Penelope Archer and Luke Marshall across the summer of cricket. ? Our TGI Sport | WILDCARD creative team worked with the Cricket Australia Marketing team Teresa Basile and David Hutchinson to create the SummerFest brand. ? We started over in the West working at Perth Stadium and directly with Brendan Wild and Laura Smith across the NRMA Insurance West Test Hill and West Test Summer Fest. The Test saw a record attendance at Perth Stadium of 96,463 fans. ? The NRMA Insurance West Test Hill was lead by Christopher Cayzer. Across the ODI and 4 days of Test cricket, more than 5,900 people gathered on the Hill. ? Outside the stadium, the West Test Summer Fest came to life with support from Tourism Western Australia lead by Briony King. ? Another record-breaking Test match at the Gabba where we built the Gabba Summer Fest lead by Rosie King. Day 1 of the Test saw a record single-day crows at the Gabba of 34,227 fans! ? The Boxing Day Test at MCG was nothing short of incredible. The Test had its highest attended Test Match in Australian history with 373,691 attendees. Brianna Martin, Adam Sommerville and Visit Victoria lead the Boxing Day Test SummerFest with support from Katie Staniforth and Kelsey Gannon. The season ended with a WORLD record at the Day Night Women’s Ashes. The 11,918 fans that attended Day 2 at MCG meant it broke the world record attendance at a Women’s Test Match and 35,365 overall Test attendance which is yet another record for Cricket Australia for overall attendance. Rosie King and Brianna Martin built The Boundary Social ON THE FIELD. Fans went crazy for this experience! This was a true highlight to finish the season with. ? We are set for an even bigger year ahead with Cricket Australia bringing to life the Summer Fest across the country with the Ashes Test series!

Last month saw the ‘Superbowl of Ski’ come to Austria – the most iconic Alpine Skiing event in the world. The 85th Hahnenkamm Races took place in Kitzbuehel from the 21st to 26th January and TGI Sport were delighted to be involved, replacing static boards and LED screens with our state of the art AIR technology to optimise visibility.
