Last week, we partnered with Skanska at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester for their Power Forward Career Cafe. We had the chance to connect with students in grades 8-12, introducing them to potential careers in construction followed by a hands-on LEGO building activity. Yesterday, our team came together to make a difference through our Veterans Day and Hurricane Relief Care Package Event! We assembled care packages filled with essentials and heartfelt messages for our service members overseas and for those affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to lend a helping hand, and an extra special thanks to our heroes in service! TG Gallagher has recently upgraded the heating system at Magical Moon Farm & Foundation. When their existing system began to fail, our team stepped in, donating labor and equipment to restore warmth and comfort to their building. This project was made possible by the generosity of several contributors: Metropolitan Pipe & Supply Co, who provided the heating and hot water equipment piping, and fittings; Patriot Light and Power, who donated electrical and control systems; CommTank, Inc., who removed the oil tank; and Select Demo Services, LLC, who supplied a dumpster for the demolition. Magical Moon Farm & Foundation is an organization that is dedicated to supporting children facing cancer and other serious health challenges. Through programs like art therapy, gardening, and animal care, the foundation creates a healing space that helps these children tap into their inner strength and a sense of purpose as they go through their treatments. We are grateful to contribute to such a meaningful cause and to join forces with others dedicated to making a difference.

We closed out Construction Inclusion Week by attending Professional Women in Construction (PWC) Boston Chapters 3rd Annual Awards Celebration, which honors AEC professionals who exemplify their mission of supporting, advancing, and connecting women as well as promoting diversity in the industry. Congratulations to all the women who were recognized at this event, including our very own Maria LeVie, who received the Community Impact Award!
