FinCEN beneficial ownership information (BOI) reporting requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act are back in effect, with a new deadline of March 21, 2025 for most companies. Last Call for FinCEN BOI Filings! The Corporate Transparency Act and its Beneficial Ownership Information Regulations (BOI) seek to identify the individuals exercising control or having ownership of entities doing business in the United States. Corporations, LLCs, LLPs, Ltd., Inc., and other state registered entities must report specific Beneficial Ownership Information to FinCEN, such as name, address, photo ID etc., and also disclose the entity EIN and where it is registered to do business. A report for a domestic reporting company created before January 1, 2024, must be filed by January 1, 2025. This cannot be ignored, penalties are high! The CTA will apply to most TFG client entities doing less than $5 Million per year. Find out what exactly is required and when, here: https://lnkd.in/ePSRUd5p Don't panic! Our TFG Concierge division can handle this for you, the fee is $600 through December 30th. $500 starting January 2nd. We will not be filing on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, nor on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day or January 1st. However, we will pick up again on January 2nd and continue to file for new businesses and/or others who missed the deadline and still have to file. Due to the portal slowdown AND DOUBLE THE TIME TO FILE, as we get closer to the FinCEN BOI deadline, if we do not have client information by December 15, we cannot guarantee that the filing will be completed by the deadline!

#HeadsUpHR Form I-9 Has a New Expiration Date! USCIS recently updated the Form I-9 expiration date from July 31, 2026, to May 31, 2027. Form I-9 is used to verify a new hire's identity and employment eligibility. Employers must ensure a Form I-9 is correctly completed for each employee at the time of hire. #NeverForget Our nation changed 23 years ago when the September 11th terrorist attacks shook the foundation of America. In spite of the tragedy and the trauma at the time, and then the despair and darkness in the days following those attacks, folks stood together in solidarity across the country. God has blessed us and our nation with the resilience to remember who we are as Americans, so let us stand united for the ideals we believe in. Let us never forget those who suffered and died, and pray for those who live on with the pain of those lost.
