We're excited to share that after months of collaboration, Helen is officially joining our team full-time as a Co-Founder and CTO. She has worked at five software companies, including Intuit, BitGo, and Wish, where she developed features that reached hundreds of thousands of users. She is graduating with distinction from Waterloo with a degree in Software Engineering and a specialization in AI. Her expertise spans a wide range of skills, including full-stack development, data science, and ML/AI. Remarkably, at just 18, Helen successfully grew a small business to achieve 300K in Annual Recurring Revenue. During her time with us, Helen has impressively used her expertise to enhance our platform's accuracy and user experience. Her technical background, coupled with a track record of proven leadership, makes her the perfect person to help lead our team.
I'm excited to announce that I am joining UpGrade full-time after graduation as Co-Founder and CTO.??????? UpGrade is an ed-tech startup that uses AI to grade assignments and exams, saving teachers time and offering personalized feedback to students for each mistake. This decision involves stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing exciting challenges. However, the drive to build a solution that I wish would have existed when I was a student has pushed me forward. I am committed to building a product that can make a significant impact. ?? The past few months of working with Jackson Labell-Nevard have been a whirlwind of excitement and challenges. I'm eager to see where our shared vision and relentless drive will take us next.
