关于我们
Through a supportive small school and single-gender environment, project-based learning, and STEM advanced academics, we prepare all girls to excel in the local and international economy by cultivating a world-class education of career and college readiness skills. Located in the heart of the Lone Star State, we are dedicated to the economy of the great state of Texas. Our college and career exploration classes and internships allow our girls to consider where their future may go and then we prepare them with the skills for successful and targeted mentorships with women in our local STEM industry. Our daily Project Based Learning block uses the foundations of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Art (STEM+A) in small groups with a dedicated mentor. This lab time integrates CTE Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) with current Design Thinking.

Here are the five moments that defined our founding year: ?? 5. The TEA Interview Our fantastic School Board & Advisors (Justin Scott Brittney Rodriguez Tammi Perez-Rice, Ed.D Kimberly Cameron Mitch Elatkin) shone during this pivotal first step. Their compelling presentation to the Texas Education Agency highlighted our commitment to creating exceptional opportunities for girls in STEM.?Their leadership and dedication set the tone for the incredible journey ahead! ? 4. Building Our Founding Team We've attracted extraordinary educators and leaders whose expertise spans STEM, education innovation, and school development. Their shared commitment to excellence is already shaping our school's future. Each hire has been strategic, ensuring we have the right talent to deliver on our ambitious vision. ?? 2. Establishing TRAIL Values Developing our TRAIL values through community input—Texas Science & Culture, Relationships, Advancing Women, Intentional Growth, and Love of Learning—was a collaborative triumph. These principles aren't just words; they're the foundation of our school culture and will guide every decision we make. ?? 1. Launch of Enrollment Our community launch as Austin's Tuition-Free Open-Enrollment Girls' Charter School marked the moment our vision connected with families.
