Elena Marks and Charles Mathias, Ph.D. were invited to present recommendations from their recent policy report to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission's Value-Based Payment and Quality Improvement Advisory Committee. This committee, established by Texas Government Code §531.012, provides a forum to promote public-private, multi-stakeholder collaboration in support of quality improvement and value-based payment initiatives for Medicaid, other publicly funded health services, and the wider healthcare system.
