关于我们

The Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation was created in 1982 by a small group of Texas business men and women to focus awareness on the positive achievements made by outstanding business legends and to honor their contributions to their community and their state. Our Mission: The Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation proudly reaffirms its mission of recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of our outstanding Texas business leaders, to perpetuate and inspire the values of entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity, and community leadership in all generations of Texans. Moving Forward: This mission is achieved by honoring Texas’ foremost past and present business leaders and by inspiring the leadership of the future. Inductees into the hall of fame are chosen for their distinguished accomplishments in business and their contributions to the development of a healthy, dynamic community in Texas and to the state’s overall economic well-being. These leaders are honored during the Annual Induction Dinner. Each year, scholarships are awarded to outstanding Texas students who exhibit the same entrepreneurial drive and leadership spirit. The continued success of the Scholarship Program is made possible through the contributions of many supporters, as well as the Scholarship Endowment Program.

On October 2nd, TBHF gathered Legends, Directors, Alumni, and 2024 Awardees in San Antonio for the final installment of our Entrepreneurial X-Factor speaker series. Launched earlier this year, the series, moderated by Graham Weston, aimed to foster exchanges between influential Texas business leaders and explore the "x-factor" behind entrepreneurial success. The final event in San Antonio featured Holly Thaggard (Supergoop!). Holly Thaggard is the Founder of Supergoop!, the first and only lifestyle brand 100% dedicated to UV protection that is changing the suncare industry with breakthrough, first-to-market SPF innovations. During their fireside chat, Holly and Graham talked about the evolution of the Supergoop! brand and the idea that success is a long, gradual process, often build on small, incremental victories, rather than a single turning point. Holly expressed that there is no perfect formula for starting a business; trusting your vision and being adaptable, without waiting from everything to be perfect, is key to navigating the entrepreneurial journey. We’d like to extend a special thank you to TBHF Legend Kit Goldsburry for hosting us at his restaurant Carriqui in the Historical Pearl District. ??: Sarah E Cooper Design & Photography
