Meet Jessica Paz, a dedicated water enthusiast with a passion for safeguarding and managing our most vital resource: water. As a Water Conservation Specialist, Jessica reviews municipal water conservation plans and annual reports, analyzes data, and ensures loan recipients comply with water conservation requirements. She also supports water systems in developing strategies to implement best management practices and achieve water security goals. Jessica’s role allows her to combine her love for the water industry with her technical expertise, education, communication skills, and community engagement. She believes by protecting our water resources and empowering communities to value and conserve them, we're not only meeting today's needs but also securing the future. She currently represents TWDB in the Rio Grande Valley by serving on committees such as the Texas Water Utilities Association Citrus District, the Texas AWWA Education Division, and the Water Environment Association of Texas Public Communication and Outreach Committee, where she leads initiatives to promote water education and community involvement. #FacesofTWDB #TxWater #WaterConservation
