At the final day of our Annual Convention, attendees had the chance to connect with friends and make new connections at our Friday Networking Breakfast sponsored by Freese and Nichols, then hear from three Texas Water Association Committees. ?? During our Endangered Species Committee Meeting, Committee Chair Glenn Clingenpeel discussed a variety of timely topics including connections between the Palisades Fire, endangered species, and water. ?? At the Federal Affairs Committee, Chair Amy Stelter (Trinity River Authority of Texas) led discussions from several presenters, including a presentation from Julie Minerva, Dan Delich, and Julie Ufner. ?? To close out the Convention, Chair Nathan Vassar led the Water Quality Meeting with a panel on PFAS from Daniel Opdyke, Meg Pierce-Walsh, and Jeffrey Reed, plus a discussion on water quality bills of interest during the 89th legislative session from Julie Nahrgang. ?? Thank you to all the attendees, presenters, and sponsors of this record-breaking TWA Annual Convention. Your support makes events like this possible, and we hope to see you again soon!
