关于我们
The Texas Research Quarter is a 215-acre life science innovation district anchored around the former Electronic Data Systems (EDS) campus in Plano, Texas. The multisite project aims to develop over 4 million sq. ft. of life sciences facilities in the middle of one of the most desirable commercial locations in North Texas in Plano's Legacy neighborhood. The multiphase project will begin with the redevelopment of the 91-acre main campus. Plans for the main campus include up to 1.6 million sq. ft. of cGMP manufacturing facilities with flexibility to add manufacturing space onsite and/or on adjacent land within the district. The main campus also includes 1.5 million sq. ft. of existing buildings to be converted into research and development space with integrated lab and office suites. The location provides immediate access to world class amenities, creating a live-work-play environment onsite at TRQ. Plano prides itself on being a pro-business city, evident in the significant presence of major corporations across industries that call Plano home. The Plano area also boasts a talented, diverse workforce that, supported by a strong local network of academic institutions, is ready to meet the current and future needs of life science companies at TRQ.

?NEW EXPERIENCES ARE GOOD FOR THE SOUL ? I had to attend the Plano Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting this year. It was my first opportunity to see Texas Research Quarter (formerly the EDS Building) in Plano, TX. WOW! The inside of the building is amazing as is. ICONIC. I cannot wait to see what NexPoint has in store. The renderings are slick. What a vibrant gathering! ?? The annual meeting was buzzing with energy as we watched the 2024 Board Chair, David L. Downs, pass the gavel to the 2025 Board Chair, Kristen Lollar. It's always inspiring to see leadership transitions and the fresh perspectives they bring. We got an informative review of the past year and a sneak peek into what 2025 has in store for us. The highlights were engaging and offered a lot to think about, especially considering the economic panel discussion that followed. The insights shared about the upcoming economic landscape were pretty eye-opening. It’s fascinating how these discussions can light a fire in your brain, prompting new ideas and innovations. ?? Imagine the year 1996...and a very specific crystal ball??. You had to have been there. Yes, at the meeting, but also, 1996 - total vibe. One of the best parts of the meeting was the chance to reconnect with familiar faces and forge new connections. Moments like these remind me why our community is so strong—it's filled with intelligent and passionate individuals. Events like this are a reminder that growth happens in many forms. Be it through leadership changes, economic discussions, or making meaningful connections, every interaction adds to our professional journeys. ? Looking forward to what we’ll accomplish in 2025 with this robust community by our side! ?? Chris (Christene) Downs David L. Downs, CFP CASL RICP ChFC CLU CAP Eric Danielson, AICP - Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Kelley Thomas Krista Medlock Pamela Z. Charmaine Solomon Leah White Jillian Hiris, MSW

I had such a great time at the Plano Chamber of Commerce's Annual Meeting at the new Texas Research Quarter! It was so fun celebrating Kristen Lollar as she stepped into the role of 2025 Chair of the Chamber Board. I'm so excited to serve on the Board with her, representing the Young Professionals of Plano as this year's Chair. It's super special to be in this role while Kristen is the Chair of the Board, both of us representing Whitley Penn (and of course our fabulous Marketing team). I can't wait to see all the amazing things we'll accomplish under Kristen's leadership!
