3 Tips for Maintaining Your Feeders! ?? 1) Check Your Feeders Often! -You’ll be amazed how fast wildlife can empty out your feeders! Sometimes you’ll find your feeders full or inoperable because of weather/lack of maintenance. Always keep them up to snuff! ?? 2) Clean Your Feeders Before Every Refill! -A little bit of housekeeping goes a long way! Make sure your lids, battery compartments, eating surfaces, etc. receive a little TLC when putting fresh feed. Keep that plate for wildlife clean! ?? 3) Use Quality Feed! -Sometimes the cheapest option isn’t the always the best. Not all feeds are created equal. Use feed that have a diverse seed mix to check all the nutritional boxes. For birds make sure their are plenty of black oil sunflower seeds.
