May is Mental Health Awareness Month - TPS has teamed up with the Texas Chapter of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to promote suicide prevention in youth. Suicide is sadly the second and third leading cause of death in children aged 10-14 and 15-19 years, respectively. We will be sharing weekly posts about how Pediatricians and caregivers can help support our youth in times of need.
