This legacy is being extended in an important new way with the first-in-human implantation of the BiVACOR Total Artificial Heart at The Texas Heart Institute (THI). On our last day at HLTH Europe, Emily Reiser hosted a startup showcase featuring three international companies that are part of our Healthtech Accelerator. We had the privilege of hearing from Hicham Shatou, founder and CEO of LeQuest (Netherlands); Pahini Pandya, founder and CEO of Panakeia Technologies (UK); and Patty Lee, co-founder and CEO of Orbit Health (Denmark). They shared some of their strategies for US market entry and how TMC was instrumental in supporting their efforts.
